Happy Valentine's Day, CMN and Therapy Dogs!


Most of our blog readers know, Children's Miracle Network and The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is Team Hoffmann's charitable partner.

We all know volunteer therapy dogs visit the hospitals across the country every day, bringing smiles to the faces of all the kids.

This Valentine's Day, we want to bring awareness to the fundraising efforts going on right now that would allow each hospital to have a full-time resident dog. 

The pilot project at Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT has been a huge success.

Meet Sven, a 1 year-old Golden Retriever...

Sven is the hospital's first-ever resident facility dog. Sven, is a popular, four-legged employee trained to assist with specialized, therapies – and help make the hospital a less scary place to be...

Sven even eases a child's fear and anxiety before have a CT Scan by demonstrating the process first... or just by being there to provide comfort during the test.
