Team Hoffmann Wishes Everyone A Happy Labor Day!

Always the first Monday in September, Labor Day was the idea of Peter J. Maguire, a labor union leader who in 1882 proposed a celebration honoring the American worker.

The date chosen was simply “convenient,” according to Maguire, because it was midway between the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving.

Although the day’s focus on organized labor has diminished over the years, the holiday has become a way to mark the end of the summer season and the start of the new school year. Traditionally, Labor Day consists of barbecues and time together with family.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes Police-Community Partnerships and Neighborhood Camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.

Team Hoffmann is committed to supporting the National Night Out movement. Strong safe communities are important to us and should be important to all of our clients. Your community has a huge impact on the value of your real estate investment.

Team Hoffman is often a resource for people relocating to the area and it is important that our communities remain safe, allowing us to confidently recommend them to new buyers.

Wisconsin State Fair Cream Puffs... Tradition!

Believe it or not it's almost here... Yes, the 2017 State Fair kicks off next week!

Like most state fair's, Wisconsin is no different when it comes to traditions. Cream Puffs rank as the #1 tradition for most...

Since 1924, the iconic Original Cream Puff, has been sold at the Wisconsin State Fair. And, it remains the most popular food item among Fairgoers – an average of 350,000 are consumed each year! The delicious cream-filled pastries can be enjoyed individually or in three- or six-packs.

The Wisconsin Bakers Association operates the Cream Puff Bakery in the Original Cream Puff Pavilion, plus there are now two additional conveniently located vending locations in the Fair Park.
