This trendy neighborhood is a melting pot of UW-Milwaukee students, young professionals, and longtime residents. MKE Neighborhood #4 - BRONZEVILLE

The historic economic and social heart of Milwaukee’s African-American community, this area is now the center of major redevelopment efforts. Annual festivals celebrate the strong roots of jazz and the arts in the neighborhood, and the main thoroughfare, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, is lined with African American-owned businesses. MKE Neighborhood #3 - BREWERS HILL

Located on a bluff overlooking the Milwaukee River, Brewers Hill boomed at the turn of the 20th century as a residential area for the laborers who worked in the foundries, tanneries, mills, and breweries that lined the river. You’ll still find a brewery on the river here (featuring a nationally-ranked brewery tour!), plus great dining on top of the hill.
