MKE Neighborhood #2 - BAY VIEW

Just south of the city on the coast of Lake Michigan, Bay View is a hip and eclectic neighborhood popular with families and young professionals alike. Home to one of the city’s most popular bar districts, it’s also a hotbed of local art and creativity with gallery nights, a thriving farmers market and maker fair, and one of the city's most beloved weekly concert series. You'll find plenty of opportunities to get outdoors on lakefront trails or at beer gardens in neighborhood parks. From record shops and great music venues to craft beer and dining, Bay View combines city fun with a charming neighborhood feel.

MKE Neighborhood #1 - AVENUES WEST AND MARQUETTE

The lively Marquette University campus and diverse residential streets now make up the heart of this neighborhood. You can’t miss signs that this was the historic home of Milwaukee’s elite, but today you’re more likely to run into college students than beer barons on Wisconsin Avenue. From beloved student hangouts to the Gilded Age glory of the Pabst Mansion, explore this gateway to Milwaukee's near west side neighborhoods.
