The home remodeling market has been in continued expansion despite the pandemic. According to Improving America’s Housing Report by the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University, the home improvement market reached $281 Billion in 2021 and is expected to continue rising next year.
Winter isn't the season when sellers typically put their homes on the market. But with buyer demand still high and a shortage of homes available, the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors (GMAR) recently said sellers should "seriously think about" listing their homes this winter. WalletHub just published a report that found the best U.S. states to retire in in 2022. Florida was at the top of the list.
For its report, WalletHub compared all 50 states based on 47 measurements within three categories: affordability, quality of life and health care.
Aside from its overall ranking, WalletHub also found how different states ranked within a few of those 47 measurements. For example, WalletHub found that Mississippi has the lowest adjusted cost of living, while Hawaii has the highest.
